Chevrolet Tahoe – дух настоящей Америки.

Каждую страну можно охарактеризовать товарами, которые она производит. Ни для кого не секрет, что в США достаточно популярны большие пикапы и внедорожники, которые пользуются уверенным спросом. Огромная страна с множеством дорог и направлений, где живут большие люди, и вполне логично, что им нужны массивные и вместительные автомобили, да к тому же обязательно мощные. Причем это даже не обсуждается, такое чувство, что как только в США появился автомобиль, у него сразу под капотом билось 8-цилиндровое сердце. Нечто должное и само собой разумеющееся.

Смотря на эту махину, испытываешь целую гамму эмоций, причем начиная сразу с отрицания. Да хорош, кому такая машина нужна в городе, да к тому же 6-литровым двигателем и понижайками? Вроде конец света еще не скоро и можно вполне дождаться рейстайлинга или взять какой-нить унисекс-паркетник. Мозг отказывается воспринимать даже мысль о пробной поездке, но стоит только открыть дверь …

Знакомство с автомобилем можно сравнить с тем, как Алиса провалилась в кроличью нору. Здесь все именно так, стоило только открыть дверь, и наступить на выезжающую подножку. Сразу оказываешься в параллельной вселенной. Вот истинное великолепие Америки, в этой брутальной автомобилизации, ну и бонусом ручник – он же ножник и кочерга переключения передач на руле.

Массивность во всем, где под капотом бьется безотказный двигатель объемом 6.2 литра. Сумасшедшая тяга во всем диапазоне, стоит только посильнее вдавить на педаль газа. Кстати для удобства покупателей, педальный узел тоже можно отрегулировать, фишка многих американцев. 426 сил не дадут скучать, машина легко пускается в пробуксовку и дальнейший занос, стоит только отключить систему стабилизации. Обычный поворот превращается в ритуал, когда на визг резины оборачиваются все, в радиусе 50 метров. Вот это внимание) А ведь есть маньяки, которые подходят к увеличению мощности с педантичностью хирурга, не останавливаясь на простых вещах вроде чипа или выхлопной системы. Компрессор не наделит грузовик повадками гоночной зажигалки, но легко приблизит к ним по динамике. Хотя и штатные показатели поражают, при старте с двух педалей, бегемот прыгает вперед с грациозностью лани и до 80 км/ч идет наравне с М4. Нечто невообразимое, как такая махина показывает такую динамику. А если соперник проспит старт, то легко и уедет.

Выбор комплектаций небогат, всего три варианта: начальная, средняя и максимальная, в которой единственное что не хватает — круговых камер и массажа кресел, так как сиденьями их назвать сложно. Большие, мягкие, удобные кресла, которые не имеют практически никакого отношения к автомобильным сидениям. Я не буду писать чушь, про малое количество регулировок или отсутствие боковой поддержки, ведь этот аппарат для комфортного перемещения на разумных скоростях, без космических нагрузок. Но вот чтобы я предложил GM? Так это вернуть, хотя бы в качестве опции передний 3-местный диван. Выглядело бы винтажно и эпатажно.

Руль приятно лежит в руках и в процессе движения не скажешь, что машина весит 2.5 тонны и по своим повадкам местами напоминает полноценный фургон. Рулежка предсказуема и понятна, машина легко слушается руля и только ждёт, чтобы водитель притопил педаль газа. Кнопки слева отвечают за круиз, который к тому же адаптивный и мега адекватно работает. Жаль, что на малых скоростях он отрубается, и управление приходится брать в свои руки-ноги. Кнопки справа отвечают за настройки виртуальной приборной панели, которая абсолютно идентична с купе Камаро, как и многие другие элементы управления, например климатом. Элементы управления громкостью и сменой радиостанций находятся с обратной стороны руля и нашлись совершенно случайно, когда я от страха вцепился в руль чуть не ногами)

Приборка в стиле комбо, союз цифровых и аналоговых технологий. Каждый легко найдет, что и как выбрать-настроить, я остановился на банальном показе текущей скорости. Несмотря на наличие мега функционального проекционного дисплея, изредка глаза упираются в приборку, видимо на генном уровне прописано, что вся актуальная информация находится именно там. Например, человек, который катался до меня, выбрал расход и остаток хода, что для меня абсолютно не важно, ведь глупо подстраиваться под какие-то жалкие цифры, когда под капотом мощный V8. Экономия кстати не пустой звук, ведь в спокойном режиме половина цилиндров отключается и по заверениям производителя аппетит становится даже умеренным. В пробке так и было, но лишь в качестве эксперимента.

Обзор хороший, по всем направлениям, но без камер кругового обзора приходится быть особенно внимательным. Хотя на трешке, в меня чуть Е-шка не прилетела, водитель не заметил Тахо при перестроении. Как его с таким зрением вообще пустили управлять автомобилем? 5 метров в длину, почти 2 метра в высоту — как такой агрегат на дороге можно не заметить?

Места навалом, есть даже холодильник между передними сиденьями, куда легко влезут 5-6 литровых пакетов молока.

Сзади так вообще раздолье. 2 капитанских раздельных кресла на втором ряду и 3 места на третьем, но больше для детей, чем взрослых. Безусловно поместится туда и взрослый, но комфортнее все же будет ребенку. Изофикс только на втором ряду, так что 3 ряд подойдет только для детей с бустером, хотя я сторонник полноценного детского кресла.

Задних пассажиров согреет или охладит отдельный климат-контроль, который управляется спереди и даже может быть заблокирован, чтобы например дети не играли в программистов. Развлекательная система с наушниками, 6 USB-портов и 1 порт HDMI для просмотра видео, не даст скучать в дальней дороге.

Материалы не вызывают сомнений и каких-то вопросов, все качественно и добротно. Скрипов, жучков и прочих паразитов слышно во время движения не было, что меня даже удивило.
Шумоизоляция великолепна и двигатель настолько тихо работает, что его слышно только когда крутишь до отсечки, но этот благородный рык как классическая симфония, для музыканта.

Бак вмещает 100 литров, что гарантирует некую автономность хода и даже при хорошем аппетите за 20 литров без заправки можно проехать около 500 километров. Максимальная скорость ограничена на 180 км/ч, но быстрее вам и самим не захочется. Думаю, вы догадываетесь, что форма кузова не самая идеальная для хорошего коэффициента аэродинамического сопротивления, так что и 180 км/ч достаточно приличный результат. К тому же в США была достаточно распространена проблема опрокидывания именно внедорожников, все благодаря высокому центру тяжести машины. Хоть под капотом и приличный табун, но он не для гонок, а для выполнения определенного функционала, как например буксировка прицепов.

Кстати данные релиза лукавят, машина легко и непринужденно разгоняется до 188 км/ч, а потом упирается в ограничитель. Набор скорости происходит настолько легко и изящно, как будто сидишь не в 2.5 тонном внедорожнике. Феноменальный подхват с любых скоростей, практически без задержек.
Тормоза вроде есть, но педаль абсолютно не информативная и для остановки приходится чуть ли не вдавливать ее в пол, да и перераспределение нагрузок тоже вносит свои коррективы, ведь масса у автомобиля приличная.

Напоследок придерусь к ущербному черному цвету, когда в палитре есть нереально сочный оттенок вишневого цвета, который придает махине какой-то легкости и ирреальности. Но буду все же объективен, это один из немногих автомобилей, кому он идеально подходит. Получился мега универсальный автомобиль, который многим придется уж точно по душе, особенно если вы фанатеете по америкосам)

Почему вымирающий Tahoe останется в нашей памяти?

На Chevrolet Tahoe первого и второго поколений широкая горизонтальная планка проходила по всей ширине передка, разделяя головную оптику на две части. На нынешней модели фары нетронутые, но образ узнаваем. Настоящий полковник!

Давно мы хотели взять на тест большое и американское. Неактуальное — для души. И пожалуйста — в пресс-парке российского представительства General Motors выжил рамный великан Tahoe. Отлично! То что надо — американистее некуда. Отъездил я на нём неделю напролёт и засел за текст. А пока писал, агонизирующий концерн GM вместе с революционерами из Segway представил в Америке проект P.U.M.A. — концепт машины размером с подлокотник от Tahoe. Эх, куда катится мир, да ещё и на двух колёсах. Ну да ладно, так вдвойне интереснее.

Если вкратце, то машина — просто нечто. Прожорливый американский внедорожник иррационален в большинстве своих проявлений. Ездить на нём сейчас, когда люди пересаживаются на компактные экономичные автомобили, — вызов современным тенденциям. Бунтарство в чистом виде!

В мегаполисе Tahoe особенно монструозен и неповоротлив, и немудрено: 5131 мм в длину, 2007 — в ширину. Времени, которое тратишь на то, чтобы запарковать его, хватило бы на просмотр какого-нибудь плохонького американского боевика. В боксы многих моек не въедешь, иначе как сложив зеркала. А если семья любит погулять по торговым центрам, главе семейства, купившему такой внедорожник, остаётся ждать родных на кассе или у входа с аварийкой: пока жена и чада наслаждаются шопингом, он вынужден искать место на стоянке — и, скорее всего, так и не найдёт.

При взгляде на внушительный «вагон» у сложится впечатление, что он укроет пассажиров от любых дорожных невзгод. Это не так. Подвеска справляется с мелкими дорожными неурядицами, сводя на нет воздействие средних дефектов покрытия. Но в нашем родном асфальте полно глубоких ям и выбоин. И на таких участках «американец» выкидывает белый флаг: ходовая, «разговаривая», осыпает пятую точку седока жёсткими ударами. Некомфортно!

А как же просторный салон? Да, места хватит с избытком всем, но после знакомства с хоромами Tahoe всё равно испытываешь разочарование. Проблема в качестве. Его нет! Отделка оставляет желать лучшего (мягко говоря!), уровень сборки неприлично низкий: на неровностях соло хорошо звучащей аудиосистемы Bose разбавляется салонных панелей.

Водителя, то есть меня, Её Величество эргономика ввергла в отчаяние. Мало того что руль не регулируется по вылету, так ещё и по вертикали ходит ступенчато, перепад высот у педалей газа и тормоза слишком большой, а короткая подушка и бесформенная спинка сиденья через пару часов езды кажутся пыточным станком. К неудобной «кочерге» рычага КПП привыкнуть можно. Как, наверное, можно привыкнуть и к сковороде без ручки.

И даже не надейтесь размяться с помощью агрессивной езды. Водить Tahoe — то ещё удовольствие. Пусть на действие рулём он реагирует быстро, но рукам не хватает информации: ведёшь машину на ощупь. Причём движение сопровождается умопомрачительными кренами и раскачкой во всех направлениях — как будто катаешься верхом на слоне по улице. А уж малоэффективные тормоза скорее подошли бы хэтчбеку гольф-класса.

И кто же те люди, покупающие Tahoe? Сумасшедшие? Смельчаки? Слепцы, влюблённые! Проведя с Шеви целую неделю, я понимаю их. Покоряет машина своей честностью. У неё нет от тебя секретов. Она прямолинейна и бесхитростна. Американский внедорожник? Значит, огромный! И очень громкий. Ах, как ласкает слух звук мотора Vortec V8! Роскошное «восьмицилиндровое» бульканье при размеренной езде сменяется неистовым рёвом, наполняющим салон при разгоне «в пол». Ощущение первобытного, просто-таки животного превосходства над потоком словами не передать. Надо один раз попробовать. А с таких «наркотиков» не слезают.

Разгон пленил меня окончательно. Пусть вас не смущают паспортные девять секунд в спурте до сотни: цифры ни о чём не говорят. Впечатайте педаль газа в пол и наслаждайтесь: огромный автомобиль приседает на задние лапы, задирая нос, и со звериным рыком прыгает вперёд. Это как первый взлёт на самолёте в детстве — разве забудешь.

После всего этого мне всё равно, что ужасной сборки Tahoe технически устарел и прожорлив, а цены на него в России непомерно задраны. И пусть за эти деньги не купишь ничего подобного размера, но можно выбрать поменьше и заметно совершеннее во всех смыслах.

Эволюция вычеркнет Tahoe из модельного ряда Chevrolet. Но только не из людских сердец. Рык «восьмёрки» и постоянное покачивание кузова заставляют поверить, что Tahoe — живое существо. Наверное, так же громко кричали умирающие динозавры 65 миллионов лет назад. И мне бесконечно жаль, что в будущем такие автомобили мы сможем увидеть лишь в книжках, по телевизору и в палеонтологических музеях.

Американский большой «проходимец» второй генерации дебютировал в 2000 году, а покинул конвейер в 2006-м. Рамный автомобиль полноразмерного класса был доступен лишь в пятидверном кузове и комплектовался мощными бензиновыми моторами.
